Stanley Tucci opened up about his marriage to wife Felicity Blunt, whom he's been married to since 2012.
"When I met her, it just sort of made sense, even though there is this age gap of 21 years," he said.
Tucci and Blunt share two children.
Stanley Tucci is opening up about his marriage to wife Felicity Blunt–and their 21-year age gap. The Devil Wears Prada 2 actor appeared on the May 7 episode of Jenna Bush Hager’s podcast, “Open Book with Jenna,” which was a re-release of an episode published in 2024, and discussed their relationship.

“Well, look, I wasn't sure that I would ever remarry,” the 65-year-old actor told Hager. “I never thought I would have children again. And when I met her, it just sort of made sense, even though there is this age gap of 21 years.”
Tucci and Blunt, who is the sister of his Devil Wears Prada co-star, Emily Blunt, have been married since 2012 and share two children: a son named Matteo and a daughter named Emilia. Tucci also has three kids (Isabel, Nicolo, and Camilla) from his previous marriage to Kate Tucci, who died of breast cancer in 2009.

The actor continued, saying, “And obviously, I knew her family. I knew her sister was one of my best friends. And we just hit it off. We had a lot in common, even though we had nothing in common. And it just sort of stuck. But I think she changed my life in the sense that she gave me a sense of security. She gave my children a sense of security.”
The Hunger Games star also gushed about Blunt’s personality.

“She's really fun,” he said. “And she's incredibly positive, which I am not always. I mean, her mind is incredible. Her capacity to take in information, not just from a book, but from the world and process it, and turn it into something else is just extraordinary. She's pretty cool.”
