The couple arrived in contrasting looks, as Jagger wore a suit with sneakers and Hamrick donned a shimmery silver gown.

Mick Jagger and his fiancée Melanie Hamrick enjoyed a chic date night at the ballet. On Thursday, May 7, the 82-year-old rock star and the 38-year-old retired ballerina stepped out for the New York City Ballet’s Spring Gala at Lincoln Center.

Jagger wore a black blazer with white lace trim and paired it with navy blue slacks and a matching shirt. He accessorized with black sneakers and sunglasses. Hamrick, for her part, went in a more dazzling direction, donning an ombré shimmery silver-and-pink strapless gown with silver pointed-toe heels. She paired the look with diamond drop earrings, a pink clutch, and styled her hair in a side part.

Jagger served as an honorary chair for the evening, while Hamrick was an event chair. Other gala attendees included Emmy Rossum, Ashley Graham, Fran Drescher, Olivia Palermo, Diane Kruger, and Jimmy Fallon.

Jagger and Hamrick met in 2014 and, in 2025, she revealed that they had been engaged for “two or three years.” The couple shares one child, a son named Deveraux, who was born in 2016. And as for marriage, that seemingly won’t be happening anytime soon.
"Maybe one day we'll marry, maybe not,” Hamrick said. “We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything.”
