Kendall Jenner Continues Her Nipple-Baring Trend While Switching Up Her Look for Met Gala After Parties

The supermodel walked the red carpet in a gown inspired by an ancient work of art.

After walking the red carpet at the 2026 Met Gala in a nipple-baring gown inspired by Gap’s iconic T-shirt, Kendall Jenner stuck with GapStudio and designer Zac Posen for her after party look later in the evening.

Jenner, styled by Danielle Goldberg, changed into a second look from the brand as she and best friend Hailey Bieber made the after party rounds on May 4. For her second look—which perfectly complemented her first—the supermodel appeared to have shed the outer layer of her custom GapStudio dress.

The blush-toned leather look featured a sculpted bodice complete with faux nipples, and below it, a satin chiffon skirt featured a raw, undone hem. At some points on the after party circuit, the 818 Tequila founder wore a translucent headscarf over her face, and at other points, it was draped around her neck. She completed the look with a white drawstring bag and pointed-toe sandals as she headed to Saint Laurent’s after party at People’s Bar.

“The after party look was always meant to be the other side of the same coin, softer, more intimate, but no less intentional,” Posen said (per Who What Wear). “Kendall has this incredible ability to carry both power and vulnerability in the same breath, and the blush bodice was designed for exactly that, sculpted for her body on her body.”

Jenner’s red carpet ensemble drew inspiration from the Winged Victory of Samothrace, the second-century Greek statue of the goddess of victory that welcomes visitors to the Louvre, per Vogue. The look transformed Gap’s signature white T-shirt into a liquid jersey that was anchored by a bespoke molded leather bodice. Jenner’s sisters Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian also leaned into breastplates for fashion’s biggest night out.

Monday evening marked Kendall's 12th Met Gala, and, though she and Posen had never worked together before the 2026 event, Posen had collaborated with Kardashian. Posen wrote Kendall a letter saying “that it would be a dream to collaborate with her for this theme,” he told Vogue. “I thought she was the perfect person.”
