Wedding bells are ringing in Katie Couric’s blended family. On Saturday, May 9, the 69-year-old journalist’s stepdaughter, Allie Molner, got married to Dylan Orenstein in New York City—and Couric was a shimmery sight for the ceremony.
In an Instagram Stories snap posted on May 11, Couric showed off her dress, which was a stunning black sequined gown with white floral detailing at the sides by Naeem Khan. She paired the sleeveless look with dangling earrings and wore her chic bob parted to the side.

Couric and her husband, John Molner, shared a joint reel that included an inside look at the nuptials, which took place at the Waldorf Astoria New York.
She captioned the post, “Oh happy day! Congrats to @alliemolner and @dylanorenstein17 on their wedding day. May 9, 2026. We love you. 💍🤵🏻👰🏻❤️🥰🫶 (photos at the @waldorfnyc wedding and reception at @thepoolnyc ❤️).”
In addition to Allie, 28, Couric is also stepmother to her brother, Henry, 31. She also has two daughters with her late ex-husband, Jay Monahan: Elinor (Ellie), 34, and Caroline (Carrie), 30.

Days before the wedding, on April 30, Couric spoke with People about the upcoming ceremony.
"She's getting married on May 9, the day before Mother's Day," she said. "And so that's gonna be really fun and exciting for both of us, for both John [Molner] and me, and Allie's mom and her brother, Henry, who's officiating, and Dylan, her fiancé, and all their friends."
